Senior diseases are diseases that afflict humans late in their life. These diseases are the focus of the branch of medicine known as Geriatrics. Senior diseases are distinct from other diseases because they usually afflict those whose bodies are in a state of decline due to aging. Bodies of older humans are usually weaker than younger bodies which make them susceptible to these senior diseases.
